Not Another Reading Party

Every spring 20,000 creative writers gather for AWP, the largest writing conference in the world. For three days we sit, stand, and crouch through overfull readings in loud bars just so we can have a drink together afterward. So we partnered with Copper Nickel to throw a party—one that promised to skip the readings and get right to the good stuff. The result? We exceeded our goals for new subscriptions, were part of the bookfair buzz, and built some lasting relationships. Plus, the party was standing room only until the wee hours.
